Thanks for the bump guy. I've seen POS civics with turbo kits and itr swaps sell for 8k, so I think my price is fair. Keep in mine you are getting the original motor and tranny. Usually itr in this price range doesn't come with the original motor.

Original motor and tranny. Vin tags are on the motor and tranny. The car was salvage due to theft of seats, cluster, radio and the valve cover off the head. No accidents whatsoever....

It has everything to do with selling your car.

Granted, it looks like a great car, and i'd love to buy it, but first off they wouldn't salvage a car because they stole door panels and seats. First thing theives go for is the motor, which doesn't take a rocket scientist to pull out.

So you're either not telling the whole story or you're straight up lying about it being the original motor and tranny. Either way it would be in your best interest as a seller to 1) specify the situation, and 2) answer potential buyers' questions.

If not, have fun with your shady *** car and looking like a dumb fck. Bump for you, though.

I have all the receipts and paper work for everything. I know its hard to believe but they never had a chance to take the motor. All they was able to take was the valve cover. They must have got caught while taking the motor out, because the motor was inches from being drop. If you notice in the picture the driver side mount is loose. This is the car at the salvage yard after the recover. I don't have anything to hide and I'm not into any illegal sh*t. I have many vouches on here and one of the original members on here. I would like for you guys to stop bashing my post. If you don't like the price, make any offer or keep it moving.

how could he lie about the vin tags? they don't exactly re-sale vin tags with your vin number on them you know. And if a car is stolen and recovered, it is considered a theft recovery even if they only took the shift ****. Bump for a fellow 98 R owner GLWS.

Never doubted much, it was just a shady story backed by bad answers to questions. But you pretty much straightened it out. Still a bit expensive for me to bite, so as requested I'll move along. glws
