Rear disc brakes
I just picked up a EG hatch, and I have a question. I just got back from driving the car and decided to see how hot the rear disc was compared to the front.
The front was hot, but the rear was still cool and has some surface rust still on it. Ebrake works fine. Is it possible that its not working? Conversion not installed properly? I can hear somewhat of rubbing/contact sound when brakes are applied. Rotors looks like it could use a replacement.
Its on a 93 DX.
TIA!

The front breaks are going to be your main source of stopping; hence the larger calipers/rotors. Your rear rotors shouldn't get too hot unless you've been doing some spirited driving with hard breaking.
Thanks for the info! I mean it shouldnt be installed wrong, where else would you attach the brake lines and cables, right? Nothings leaking.
Being that I just picked it up, im just going to thoroughly check everything out and replace parts as necessary.
