i just dyed my carpet black...what a pain, but totally worth it. now i need to find some new floor mats to cover up my sweet carpet. i'd like to go OEM but don't know if black mats were an option on any trim level. anyone have any good options for aftermarket mats? please lmk cause my old nasty gray mats look like ish.

 

Check on eBay for NEW OEM black mats. They have them on there.

Originally '96-'00 USDM Civics did not have black floor mats available.

Recently the Classy Gray (Dark Gray TYPE K) floormats have been discontinued and replaced with black mats.

So you can get them from Honda. They have a sort of oval logo that says CIVIC on one and HONDA on the other.

i found those on ebay. don't know though... i have a hard time believing people when they say OEM. They do offer free shipping, and i don't think 83 bucks is that bad of a deal. i'll check with honda though to see what they got at my local dealership.

 

Those are the new OEM ones that I mentioned in my post.

Go to your local Honda dealership and you'll get the same ones.

Most optional parts are expensive.

It's just lucky that they continued making any floormats that would fit and match decently to our interiors.

I'm still bummed that the dark gray ones are all gone. I was lucky to get one more set, which usually stays inside the house.

 

OEM black floor mats would be your best bet.
