Did anyone else see this - it was unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Is it completely hideous?

I dont like the rims tbh, and the LED crap on the front looks like something you'd get at Pep Boys in the RICE section.

seriously, WTF is honda thinking? first they have no dedicated sports car for 2010, they scrap the s3000 and new NSX program, and now this? they better not put that out on the market to sell, it better just be a concept

 

i think/hope it's just a concept. It was put together by Honda Access Corporation (owned by Honda) and get this - this is their quote:

"The car's distinctive exterior styling features chiselled lines"

Chiselled is the nicest way of putting it. random lines of **** would be better

 

they said chiselled? really? its a goddamn s2000, not arnold schrawzeneggar, a car does not need to be chiselled.....it's official, whoever is running honda is on crack

 

it's like a car accident - it's ugly, but i just keep going back to have a look to make sure, and yup, it's still ugly and getting uglier - nothing flows at all (unlike a car accident)

it looks like honda is trying to turn the s2000 into a "bling" car. poor judgement on Honda's part IMO.

Lame or not, this is old news, period!

 

It is old news, and I think it was already posted here too... I really like the headlights, but the aero is to boxy looking and I'm definitively not feeling it.

 

I think some one posted the Mugen one with that ugly grill...

 

i don't recall seeing it, and it seems neither can anyone else - feel free to dig out the link. I got this from a press release sent to me by Honda, so i assumed it was fairly recent. I will be sure to carefully search all threads in future before recklessly starting a repeat thread and incurring the wrath of 2 moderators.
also, i have slapped myself on the wrist.
