OK i am looking at buying a car. It is out of state. and the car is pretty cheap. I was looking at a car in the past and had a similar response from the saler. But i sent him a email his email response to me was something that he sends to everyone. so he didnt answer any of my questions. I know this for sure cause a friend sent him a email and is his reply was the same word for word as mine. here is the reply. OH and please only reply that it is a scam if you know for sure that it is. i am looking for people that have seen this type of sale tactic before

So my question to you guys is this stuff about ebay vehicle purchase protection true. for those of you that have bought cars from ebay. should i feel safe with this transaction. Whats also weird is that the car is cheap enough that i would think that it would already be gone and my buddy asked him if he would take a large down payment and like two more payments in a month and he said it would be no problem.

That sounds scammish to me. A 2004 M3 with low mileage is worth over $30K. I know this cause I am around M3's and all of the German cars everyday.

 

dude ur about to loose 6300 bux. u think sellers on ebay havent scammed people before and got away with it?

 

funnny cause my grandma said something about someone sending money through a scam just like this one, to utah for a car. it was through ebay and everything. well they got out there and there wasnt even a car anymore so they traced the money and it was found in oklahoma or something like that. it was on our local news or something. i wouldnt do it. its a scam for sure.

 

its a scam...my buddy..who is not the brightest person in the world sent money to one of these guys for a car and never saw the car and never got his 7k back..dont do it

i know the cars are worth more than this which has had me sceptical from the beginning but when he started stalking about using ebay for the money transaction then i thought that there might be a chance but i was going to look into it more.

brandon43 did you buddy buy his car with the seller saying the same stuff like being in the military and using ebay to make the sale.

 

dude im in the military and nobody is that desperate to sell that expensive of a car for that cheap. there is no way in hell that i would even think about buyin a car off ebay either. sounds like a scam to me
