Trans Question
i gotta 1992 Honda prelude and it has the F22a1 Motor, and the motor went out had a knock in the crank, So we want to replace tnhe motor while doing so upgrade it to a better motor we found a H22A OBD1 DOHC VTEC off JDMS website and was wonder if that would Bolt up to my trans or not please lemme know thanks

yes all accord and prelude engines and trannies are interchangeable. however, the f22 tranny is geared way to long for such a gutless 4 cylinder. you'll fall out of vtec between shifts and the car won't be nearly as fast. my advice: save up for an lsd tranny. preferably jdm with the longer 5th gear (m2b4?)
