I just noticed when i start my car it sound's like clicking. as in a turn signal clicking but faster. tryed getting down beside the car. im scared it's my motor? theres oil in the car and it doesnt knock and still has power whats a spun bearing? is that maybe what it could be? also please note my heat shield rattles it's *** off at 3k could it be this at idle it rattling or clicking? and if i spun a bearing how would i know?

if u spun a rod bearing u would feel right way, it would be hard knocking not clicking. at the first stages it will make ticking noise especially on start up.

u probably have something rattling, like u said heat shield. at cold idle engine vibrates more so it might cause something rattling if it's loose. remove it see that will fix ur problem

 

as in ticking on start up my valve's tap is that bad?

 

If you hear it from the valves try doing a valve adjustment.

could try to get some in the morning its like i hear rattle when my motor runs and revs like raspy like it's dry and stuff weird stuff does all gsr's run that way with valve taps and like raspy?

 

no not all gsr's run that way. i've never heard anything like that

 

The ticking could be a loose heat shield, or an exhaust leak.

It's also common especially when it's cold for the valve train to tick. The Honda/Acura dealer charges about $80 to do a valve adjustment. It's could also be the LMA's (Lost Motion Assembly) in the valve train.

Mine used to tick like that, but a valve adjustment cleared it right up.

what about your fuel injectors i know it sounds weird but put your hand on your fuel injectors while cars running . can you feel your injectors clicking in when hear the click ...this happened to me when mine were goin bad ...just my 2cents
