a/c compressor questions

does anybody know if it's bad if i take out the belt for the a/c compressor and then put it back on like 5-6 months later. i hear rumor that if i do that than the a/c compressor won't work properly anymore.

it'll be fine, the only problem i would see happening is your compressor pulley seizing due to it not being turned and oiled.

Yeah thats usually the problem the a/c compressors need to get ran on a regular basis. Had that problem in my old grandprix sat for 6 months fixed the motor and and now the shaft is seized on the ac comp.
