Default 2.75 Piping on a 00 em1??

i have a aem short ram intake with dc headers

im thinkin bout puttin 2 and 3/4 piping on my car.does anyone know what its going to sound like.i dont want the real "RICE"/"STRAIGHT PIPE SOUND" i will still have the cat still in effect.


so does anyone know wat kinda sound its gunna make

Is the engine stock? 2 3/4 is pretty big for a stock b16. Also if you are still running the stock cat, you realize that your exhaust will still be restricted by the size of the cat, right?

As for your actual question....the best way to get an idea of exhaust sound is to search youtube for clips of people's exhausts. Also keep in mind that there are quite a few things playing a part in the sound of the exhaust: cat, resonator/no resonator, muffler, piping...and most importantly the engine.
