Just though I would say hi and introduce myself to the great site, well, my name is Addy, living in the middle east, Qatar, I drive an 07 ASM fd1 civic and got a few cosmetics and handling mods.

I have been a member at 8thcivic.com for couple years and I have noticed that a lot of the members there are here too.

I hope I can share knowledge with the forums and learn more about motors, since I am an engine newbie and this site seems to be more technical.

My main upcoming project is swapping a k20a motor and tranny off the 06+ fd2r and go F/I, this is going to happen during the summer, so I'm hoping to learn more to clear my route and plans better.

In short words, my mods are: Mugen lip kit, Advan RZ 18x8/37+ wraped in 18/40/225 s-drive, HFP suspension, SPC rear camber arms and front bolts, Navi.

I know I'm in the minority but I still think the USDM Civic is the best looking 8th gen.

Thanks for the welcomes guys and yah this site seem to put more attention on the older generation hondas, but some threads can be useful either way for me.
