ls motor gsr driven?

ls motor gsr driven?
i have a ls motor with a blown head gasket so i figured before it goes in the car ill do gasket, timing belt, and water pump. if i use ls head gasket, p72 water oump, oil pump, timinbelt on a non vtec ls will i run into any problems?
