Don't mean to be the buzzkill here but... all the suspension upgrades & racing seats won't do you any good if you're not racing. It's a really nice car, but the mild engine mods & heavy cosmetics just shows off your money, not your driving skills.

Additionally, the next time you get pulled over for something ridiculous, question whether that overdramatic grapefruit-shooting cop magnet muffler is truly worth the 4hp.

Otherwise I applaud you on your efforts with this car, it's very classy.

lol thankyou for your input. i do occasionally do canyon runs here, so the suspension does come in handy. seeing that your'e from LA, im sure you heard of GMR and ACH. even though its not autoX or anything, its still fun to have. i've have yet to receive a ticket for anything from my 2 years of driving *knocks on wood* so hopefully i wont have to rethink what i put into my car. but nonetheless, thankyou for your comments

correct. its a DD and cruise car. its also my 1st car that i can call my own, so just putting something here and there for some additional fun. its not meant to be a race car or something fast, just as long as im safe when i do my spirited runs im happy

I hate to burst your bubble... but they're not. They're mediocre, at best. They're only $250/seat, if that's any clue.

I could definitely argue that, since they're not as structurally sound as stock seats... but it's your money. You can spend it as you like.

only thing i like bout stock seats is how they're really thick. which gives them comfort when you sit on them. hate how it didn't hug and throws you around in corners. but with the megan seats, it holds you better but u loose that comfort level that stock gives. but i guess that's where stock and aftermarket parts come in.

Structurally sound? I don't know about you, but I don't plan on using my car seats to build a castle... it's just a seat. Safety minimums are federally mandated & monitored for all aftermarket seat production for impact integrity up to 90mph, so daily I/H/E drivers need not be concerned.
If you get in a smash @ 90mph, you've got bigger problems than the integrity of your seat. Most people die from 65mph+ impacts due to spinal injury and/or punctured lungs.

Not all seats meet Federally mandated requirements before being put on the market. A perfect example would be the OBX seats commonly found on eBay. They meet no safety requirement what so ever, and have been known to fall apart due to their lack of quality build materials.

yeah my side skirts are OEM. they came off a 4dr es1 but i dunno if there is really a difference. and yes i changed my rear bumper to the 04-05 models. love how it has the flare in the rear and flows with the sideskirts without a rear lip.
