how many MPG does your D16 get?
ouch, thats rough. my moms 93 Si gets anywhere from 30mpg(360 miles) with me driving to upwards of 45mpg(550 miles) with her driving. she bought it brand new, it has a lil over 150k and runs better than brand new. IF i could ever convince her to get something else ill be buying it off of her.

My d16z6 got 38-45 MPG, 45 being all highway.
Simple ways to improve your gas mileage is keeping your PCV valve clean, your fluids kept up with, your TIRES at max sidewall pressure, and downshifting! Use downshifting to slow down. When you let off the gas with the car in gear, fuel is cut from the injectors so the car slows down without using gas. Slow and steady acceleration is also key. I always shift at 3,000 RPMs and keep things steady. Also be smart about what gear you leave your car in while driving in the city. My rule of thumb is 35mph in 3rd, 45mph in 4th. You want your motor to be able to make power when you give it gas, yet run efficiently. Think of it this way, is it easier to peddle a bike in 5th gear or 3rd gear? Adjust your speed to where the motor runs effortlessly. The more effort it needs to make to accelerate or keep speed, the more gas used!

97 hx d16y5 179k still getting 40+ regulary... all I do is keep it tuned up, frequent oil changes using mobil 1 5w30 w/ pure one oil filters, fluids, filters, clean tb, etc... but never seafoamed through the brake booster line.
'95 del sol Si D16z6 140k miles aftermarket rims/tires, exhaust, and intake, I get about 330-360 miles per tank ish, with a gallon or so left... not trying to conserve, If I do highway and baby it I'll easily get like 400+ I've never run it dry so its hard to tell exactly, but I average somewhere around 30-35mpg not trying to conserve in any particular way.

D16Z6, 44mpg. That was all freeway though, from San Jose to Orange County. Had 398 miles on the trip odometer, and when I filled up I still had a couple of gallons left in the tank.
I usually fill up around 325 or 330, and would have a gallon or 2 still left in the tank.
