OK... what do you have to do.

car: 96 civic
engine: 99 y7
harness: 96 y8

PROBLEMS:::::::::::::
BUNCH of plugs dont go to anything
dizzy wires, theres 2 blue ones on the obd2a, and only 1 blue on the obd2b dizzy
tach and spedo dont work

IAC wont work (of which i have heard of a 2 to 3 swap)

HARDLY RUNS RIGHT. with the iac disconnected it wont idle right. first gear shakes back and forth real bad... (1/8th throttle is the berwah berwah berwah berwah of the iac problem)

anyone have DIZZY pinouts (obd2a and obd2b)
anyone have suggestions?

 

dont tell me to swap to obd1... or buy a conversion harness...

I HAVE BOTH HARNESSES. I HAVE BOTH ECU'S

with all obd2b stuff connected, theres no spedo/tach

use the obd2b engine harness

 

get a obd2a dizzy... problem fixed

do the iacv fix... problem fixed

 

i have a 99 hx, turns out 99 hx's are obd2A not B
i swapped a 00 Si b16 into my car (obd2B)
i had the same problem

switch the harness from the B to the A

the A engine harness should have 4 plugs
3 go to the obd2A ECU and 1 goes to the A car
