Red wrinkle paint
So i am looking to redo my valve cover and im looikng for the red wrinkle paint like the type r valve covers. I have checked local auto stores but i had no luck. Where can i find this in a spray can?
What is the best procedure to lay the paint on. I heard with wrinkle paint you were susposed to lay it on light with a few coats and them in 15 mins out in the sun it will wrinkle.

No VHT (VERY HOT TEMPERATURE) wrinkle paint is mostly used for this paint project.
you want to do heavy coats not to heavy you don't want it to drip but do 3 heavy coats within a 3 minute period of each coat, then get a blow dryer and heat it up for best quality finish most people place the parts in the oven but blow dryer work perfect .
You can find VHT paint at most hardwood supply stores .

really? i just got 2 cans of black and 2 cans of red at autozone on friday,maybe mine has been sitting on the shelf for a while
