I don't know whether this would be a better question for the 06+ sub-forum but I figured you guys would know better. I have heard rumors that if you get rid of your TPMS sensors, i.e. changing out wheels with race tires or whatever, you're not able to turn off your VSA. Now my TPMS light has been on before with me being able to turn the VSA off, however the TPMS sensors were still in the wheels. Does anyone have any experience in completely removing the tpms sensors from the car and still having the ability to turn off the vsa? I'm getting a new set of wheels with race rubber and I don't want to have to change out the TPMS sensors or get new ones, but obviously it is a must for me to be able to turn off the VSA. Any info would be great, tia.

You can always stuff the TPMS sensors into a PVC tube, pressurize it, throw it in the glove box, and never have to worry about them again.

No clue on VSA stuff...

I've heard about the tube thing as well just didn't want to have to do that but it may come to it

does anyone have a definitive answer on the vsa issue?
