You will probably need new struts after yours blow. And the car will probably ride like ****. In two weeks you will be the one selling the springs and somebody else will be asking if these springs will fit his car.

If the springs are not matched to the dampers, the dampers will blow over time.
Lowering springs tend to make a car ride like ****.

What do you want to do with the car?
I would suggest a coilover system.
I stay away from lowering springs, maybe someone else can help you there.

Lowering springs is not the route I would go.

Don't spend it on lowering springs. Save your money.
Is your car already running alright? If not I would use the money to fix it.

the rates and amount of drop will dictate if they work with your stock struts. if they are less than a 2" drop and not the race spring rates they will work with your stock shocks.

if i were you since your car is running pretty well i would just keep saving for coilovers. dont make a mistake like a lot of people do they buy springs then blow the struts and then they end up buying a whole new coilover system.

Nobody can tell you that for certain. It depends on a lot of factors.

Only something very mild, like Tein S.Tech springs. The stock shocks really shouldn't be used with anything other than the stock springs.

It's painful but the best way to go is just buy shocks built for lowering springs/coilovers too when you do it, that way you won't be taking your suspension off down the road to replace your struts after they go

I made this mistake a long time ago. I put skunk2 coilover sleeves on my stock struts and the blew the same month. My car rode like *** for a couple months until I could afford to purchase new KYB AGX shocks to compensate for shorter springs. Even at that, I was not pleased with how my car rode, so I saved even more money to purchase a full coilover system. Save your money.
