I am Mugen Type R in the ITR boards, for some reason this has my original account from october 2003 name on it because they have seperated my two accounts with my name change, I have never used this one before on the FS boards but i have to now.

I have met all of the ITR fellows at Expo04 and you can also check my feedback on Ebay as user Craigcusteau. I am paypal verified. As for price too steep, well go see how much it'll cost you for a new one and perhaps it's a matter of personnal opinion.

I'm sorry if i have confused you but this intake isin't new, I just mean that a new one goest for 700 plus shipping with that add, and once it gets to your house that intake can run you perhaps 760 if your in USA, 1000 if your in canada. So 500 for that one is market price, note that I'm the only one selling it on h-t, which is linked to this intake's rarity.

i have some buddies that wouldnt mind buying this one either but for 700 bucks
u can get a new one without the risk of getting scammed.

i know your probably not a scammer but honda-tech has been really bad this passed
few months and alot of people are not willing to take the risk.

I don't see why you would wanna buy it new from anyone if you can buy it new online and you don't? 700+ shipping can add up to 800$, maybe that's why, but you didn't talk about that part. It won't be the first time a used Mugen item is not half the price of a new one, just look at the mugen hood, the mugen fg-600, the mugen valve covers, the mugen clusters, they all sell close to msrp used online. The mugen wing sold for close to twice its msrp online for a used one. also there's the guy who's selling some old new mugen right now andl he want's 1400$ for his pair of bnib mugen aero skirts which were half that at msrp. So mugen pricing is all relative to what people are ready to pay for it.

That being said, I'm a well standing member since 2003 as Mugen Type R on the ITR boards here and just want to get rid of this intake for a dc2 one, I would gladly accept a trade for a dc2 one if anyone happens to have one and need this, which i doubt, but you never know.

i understand mugen parts being expensive i know i have alot alot of mugen parts from ek clusters to fg360 steering wheel mf10 wheels badges etc.

the mugen ek intake is not that sought after i know its rare but not as any of the other parts.

j mira sold one not long ago for like 300 dollars to a member on here the condition wasnt as clean as yours thoug and he had it for sale for a long time and no one was buying it.

if it doesnt sell on ebay for what your asking am willing to pay 500 shipped for it.

 

I see where your comming from, keep in mind the time of the year also comes into play, alot more people are willing to pay for an intake at spring time that they wouldn't have money for if the same part was listed in the fall, that holds true for the car business in general.
