im getting my uncles 1997 acura integra ls automatic..i dont liek automatic but i have to take it im getting a good deal!! what should i do for better acce;eration!? i like the feeling of boost like fast pick up so what can i do ? what all would i have to do to turbo charge this car? how much would it cost me?

a homemade turbo setup where you piece together all the parts will run about 1000 bucks. plus tuning cost. turbo automatics are common in cars like saab and volvo. not so much in hondas/acuras

 

Easiest way to improve acceleration is to swap in a manual transmission.

If you do decide to boost it, have fun while the transmission lasts. Once it decides to go, you'll question the true price of your upgrades...

 

Buy a v8.

 

buy the above mentioned "good deal". . sell it. buy a manual and start from there.
