Default Just got an '09 Si

Just got a polished metal metalic civic si coupe. Still breaking it in so haven't got to truly enjoy the vehicle to its full potential. Anyways i was looking to get a Fujita SRI after I break it in and was wondering if it will fit the '09 I'd assume it would but it says '06-'07. Just making sure there wasn't any changes. Any negatives to this intake? Thanks guys, feels good to have a Honda again.

I have the fujita sri on my 08 si. I love it. The way it sounds. I got a small mpg increase out of it but nothing major. A great bang for the buck. As far as fitment goes i would go ahead and assume that it would fit the 09. But you can never know for sure until you try. Maybe try looking at buying it from another site that may have a more up to date applications list.

Would the P2R TBS with gaskets be worthwhile also? I'm thinking of getting both of these put on at the same time. I heard you'd have to shorten one of the hoses for the intake then it would fit fine. Thanks again guys.

I recommend getting a SRI other than a Fujita. While I love the way mine sounded, it seems to be the reason my car has been giving me problems lately. Read this thread to find out what I'm talking about: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2006-2015-79/help-my-si-angry-2511767/

I thought it was my MAF, because the car seemed better after I replaced that and was rocking the stock air box. I put my Fujita back on, and a couple days later, my car started stalling again. I put the air box back on, and the car hasn't stalled since. The Fujita doesn't have MAF vanes so I assume it doesn't allow the ECU to read the AFR properly. Also, I was quite disappointed with the fitment of the MAF in the housing on the intake tube. The hole was a little too tight, and the screw holes didn't line up perfectly.

Sure, plenty of people have had no problems with their Fujita, but I just thought I'd share my opinion with you. IMO, there are intakes produced by other companies with better maf housings (and vanes). Also, IMO the K&N is the best looking one. I never liked how the Fujita looked in my engine bay.

Just wondering if you were supposed to reset the ECU after the intake install? I've heard you were supposed to drive it easy during the first 100 miles. Any truth to this?

Anyone else have trouble with the fujita i already ordered it.

I've read that because this intake doesn't have the Vains in it that it's going to throw off my A/F ratio's?? Is it going to make my car run too lean and mess up my motor?? I've searched and cannot get a straight answer

My Fujita SRI caused a "bank 1 too lean" CEL to come up a couple times. I am running the stock air box until I get the AEM SRI with the MAF vanes.

Does the new aem sri come with the vanes or is it just the cai version? Maybe i'll get my A/F checked at my honda tuning shop after the install and see how they look.
