WELL im in the market of trying too find a nice sounding exhaust...and im so hooked on the way that ive heard most modiffied sounding subaru STI ...its not that ricey sound but more of a nice deep powerful noise..if any one knows what im speaking of can you tell me how i can possibly achieve an exhaust setup sounding similar too this

 

honestly i can tell you right now everybody is going to tell you apexi ws2, unless you want to spend a fortune that is the best setup for you to get a good deep tuned sounding exhaust that doesn't sound or look ricey

 

get one of your rods to knock or get a sti

Quite true.

There are simply too many differences in the designs of the two engines for you to replicate the sound of the Subaru with your Honda.

The STI has a turbocharged, horizontally-opposed 2.5 litre with a 1-3-2-4 firing order, 2 banks of cylinders, etc....

Your Honda does not.

 

^^ its a very awkard design.

 

Actually, the fundamental design has many advantages, and Subaru's boxer has remained relatively unchanged for many years with tremendous success and durability.

 

Let me know if you somehow manage to get your 1.6L N/T to sound like a 2.5L turbo.

 

Just take a sparkplug out then your will get that suby sound

 

Beat me to it! You might lose a lot of HP, but youll get that STi sound.

 

Invidia Exhaust is MAYBE the closest thing I've heard, but it still doesn't sound like like a STI
