Is the cast iron manifold good for 400 whp?
donno man, but i was told I couldnt make over 500 on a log and we have. So ide say its all up to the tuner, and you as well as how far your willing to push it
I run one, tight fit on wastegate, i did 319 on 15psi. 81.5 mm ls block at 9.0.1. Car had full 2.5 in exhaust with 2.5 inch down pipe. Stock b16 head wiht springs and retainers. S300 tuned by stickerguy. If you run a good turbo, unlike me and have a cutout with a few more things done ie, cams. You should be able to pull 400 out of it. What are the specs on oyur build?
Good luck

I run spring and retainers as well turn 8500. You should be able to pull it or close, 350 on the street is wild. What shell, crx? Good luck def get a cutout, i had a buddy here ake 58 whp on the same tune with open dp instead of closed on a turbo gsr

It will be easier to make HP with a nice ramhorn/etc, but a log can still make tons of HP. I know some people have made over 500 on cast manifolds, you just need to get a couple decent parts/turbo into the motor to get there. If you went with a lower CR ratio, you could really crank the boost to get your power goal - thats how most people make big power. 10:1 CR is for people who want to race off idle IMO.

I made over 400 with a pfab man @17psi on a t3/t3 66 trim on 91 octane. Manifold isnt overly expensive either, and a tial 38mm gate.
You can acheive what you want with research, good parts, and a great tuner

I have a revhard log mani for suposedly a B16A2 but it is impossible to fit my Garrett T3/T4 stage 2 turbo and it makes contact with the block not only the webbing but the flywheel housing as well any of you guys had any similar problems?
A Garrett t3/t4 will not fit, you will have to use a 5bolt precision or turbonetics.
