I spent a good couple of hours searching (I must say the search function has improved greatly since the changeover). All I found about clearance issues were about USDM and UKDM wheels. This question pops up because Spoon calipers clear USDM wheels without spacers, but JDM 16's do not.

Any pics would be great (to see how good they look)

i have had 13 inch wheels fit over the nsx calipers!
13x7 volk ce 28n's with a 28 or 25 offset. we-todd site is down or i'd show a pic

16's will clear no problem, you might need a spacer is all. all my wheels are 15's and the clear the calipers no problem.

 

I 2nd what Chad said above.

I have 16" JDM ITR wheels, NSX NA2 calipers, TSX rotors 12" rotors on a 5 lug hub equipped 99 Si. Plenty of clearance. I did not need a spacer.

 

I just did some searching in the 92-00 Civic forum and found JDM 16's fit without spacers.
