Okay, I have this hybrid going into a 5G Prelude. I have alot of parts from the original H22A, like the dizzy and intake mani.
Is it wiser to use my original intake manifold, and dizzy, or does it matter?

its here. it was pressure washed prior so I saw a little rust on the lobes (VC was off)
top 1/2 was turned without the bottom on accident, I wasnted to see it turn to make sure it wouldnt grind, but the keyway wasnt in. possible damage?
oh...and it ended up being an H23 head.

Your posts don't make sense ... original H22a ?? Your 5th Gen 'lude had the H22a4 as it's original motor, and if you received the H23 head then it wouldn't be VTEC ... please re-read what you wrote and try to make sense next time ...

IT doesnt matter which H22 was in the Lude. It had an H22.
That motor isnt in the car anymore I just had a hybrid motor brought, it ended up being a F22A6 block with a H23A head.
The last post basically stands as is; block turned without head. Rust on lobes, due to VC not being on. Seems like potential probs. Are they?
