91 crx si seat rail/sliders-questions
Which seats are you getting. What year is your EF or CRX?
some of the seat companies make a slider/base assembly for the seats that will work just fine. To use your stock ones, you must first weld up enough box-tubing and spacers to make a flat surface, then add crosspieces to mount your seat to.

OK, so they are most likely flat bottom seats if they are bucket-type racing seats.
I have a 91 CRX, too... here's the lowdown:
The 91 stock sliders are weird. One is flat one is on its side. the front two points are level, but the rear two mounting points are higher, and not level with each other. The holes on the stock seat account for this, but with a flat bottom seat you need to safely build up the platform to accommodate the different heights.
You will need to get a piece of 1x1 box tubing welded or bolted on to the stock outside slider. Then you will need to add a ~1/2 spacer of some kind to the front seat mount for the inside slider to raise it up. At this point all four points will be level, and you can put cross-pieces in to bolt the seats to.
The bad new is, this will usually result in the seat being higher than stock... it just doesnt work on a 90-91 period, even with a seat that is perfectly flat and un-padded on the bottom like a lawn chair.
So the best route to go is to find out what brand they are, get flat sliders for that brand and then get a base to put those sliders on, like from Wedge Engineering or Weapon R.

After buying two Sparco Sprints and having a very generous guru put a whole day into making mounts for them from my stock sliders, only to find they are just a wee bit higher than stock, I am biting the bullet and getting Wedge to make me some bases and bolting Sparco sliders to them so they will be about .75" lower than stock.
For two entry-level FIA rated seats that totals up to ~$900... now you see why there is not much info on this topic... its gets expensive!
TLDR: Whatever you pay for seats, add ~$175 each for mounting bases and sliders if you want to safely sit stock height or lower in a 90-91 crx.
Good Luck!

Damn that sucks. Seeing as though it is $200 for the pair. But thank you very much for all the helpful info. I will weigh my options and see what will work best for me.
Just about any other honda or acura seat can fit if you strip them down to the seat pans and swap the seat foam, cloth and backs over to your 90-91 seat pans...but none will just bolt directly in as far as I know.

Fireant is right... Well I have been on the same boat for quite a while. Ive been calling everyone from florida to cali. F1 spec doesnt sell rails for our year but they sell Weapon R bases that require a little drilling. They say you will sit a little lower than stock. I called Memory fab and they told me that they are in the works of modifing the Buddy club racing seat rail to bolt up into our 91 crxs. They told me if would be a few weeks. Im waiting to see what they come out with because i need sidmount rails and sliders for my recaro spg.
As soon as they give me word, I will order the brackets and do a review. We need to get all the information we can into one thread. There are alot of people wondering around and not getting any info.

Wedge Engineering and Weapon R both do.

was looking into these...... what needs to be drilled??
are there any problems with the seat belt mounting location??
Also do you know if the weaponR seat rails work with the Sparco sliders ( I have gotten different answers)
and has anyone seen or heard about these.....looks a little sketch from the pic
