Default Air temperature sensor

Where exactly is it located and how does accurate is it?
Is there a difference in temperature when the vehicle is standing still and in motion like freeway speed?

I think it is behind the bumper on the drivers side by the radiator. The only difference iv noticed is when my car sits in the sun while im at work. Once your in motion its all good.Iv only seen +-2 deg goin by the temp signs on the banks and such.
