Default Is this what my car should be feeling like?

I have a civic with a gsr swap. It has skunk2 intake manifold, dc 4-2-1 headers, SRI and i feel like it could be making more power. I have a p72 chipped by phearable. Do you guys think getting my car dyno tuned would be a good idea?

It wouldnt hurt. all engines are different so a chip wont be perfect for every gsr...

dont i need a plug type ecu for a tune? and last night the weirdest thing happened to my car i went to a local meet that happens everyfriday... car was driving good on low rpms but when i tryed going high rpms it was bogging kinda the exhaust felt restricted. So i got my flashlight and went to take a look at that exhaust it seemed like someone took they freaking type to put a wig all the way inside of my exhaust...

Don't go to meets.
Lesson learned.

And a tune at the dyno can and WILL make a big difference.

What kind of exhaust is it? High RPM bogging is consistant with a blocked/ clogged exhaust. It might be the fiberglass filler material inside the muffler has come out. If you dont know what kind of exhaust it is or its old you might want to check and get it replaced along with the cat before tuning it.

yeah i thought about it being fiberglass alphalanos! its a stock civic muffler but i didnt think they had fiberglass inside them! And my plans is to get a high flow get and apexi ws2 i love how it sounds! so how are they gonna tune my car if theres no plug for the ecu? are they gonna have to rechip it?

yeah i dont usually go to meets but last night the parking lot had over 100 cars so i decided to stop by real quick!

hey man you should make a topic about that or use the search feature... or even the faq section! But to begin what engine do you currently have?
