You should have a cruise control button in the dash....

What year car?

For 6G Civics there is a cruise control button on the dash which must be pressed in order to be able to engage the cruise control. But if you want to set cruise control, speed up, slow down, or reset you need to use the controls on the steering wheel.

i mean the switch on your steering wheel is just that, a switch, you could find a way to mount it or rig something up somewhere else
