Yes, or you can use dampers made for most any other car with a simple swap of some bolts and/or studs.

 

I know there is a few write ups, if search is working they wont be hard to find.

At least your trunk springs work, I used to use my hood prop as a trunk prop when working inside of the trunk lmao

Oh btw every one, if you go get hood hinge replacements from Honda, they open up to a 90 degree angle, something my stock hinges didn't do.

Gotta Custom make a set from another vehicle.

 

I have seen a few 4th gen sets on eBay...

 

I came across a few sets last year of them.. But haven't been able to find them since.. Only see 5thGen's on there.. :\

 

The Honda accord ones are supposed to fit.

 

I got the ones off of ebay and they didn't really work too well, but then again i couldn't really put them on properly cause the head of my hood bolt is sheered off. If you are gonna invest the money get the NRG ones. I will prolly gather all of the parts to the ebay ones and sell them if anybody wants em for cheap, but be advised they did NOT hold up my oem hood.
