Default KMS valvetrain

How does this valvetrain compare to blox or supertech valvetrain. Has anybody use this valvetrain before?

I had KMS valvesprings and retainers in my GSR head with Skunk2 Tuner2 cams for 10k miles and never had a problem with them.

im using their ti-retainers in my head. its been over 4 years now and no issues. no signs of wear either.

i would trust their products. just because they advertise on ebay does not mean they are crap.......you can buy "brand name" parts from ebay so does it make everything crap? no

HArd to believe but i used KMS VT couple of years ago, it had the same part #'s as the supertech SPR-H100DR, they hold up with the skunk2 stage2 cams till 9,500rpm on my little 1.8 motor. I wouldn't mind buying it again if im gonna build another Head! good stuff IMO

I have the KMS dual springs, ti retainers, valves, seats, and guides in the B16 head on my LS/VTEC-Turbo setup and they're great! The motor easily revs to 9500 and has been brought past 10k a couple of times. I also have 2 friends using them in N/A K-Series builds. I give them a +1 on product and customer service!

KMS=Supertech its the same stuff Kauffman just repackages it as HIS OWN.

John K. and KMS are the biggest rip offs ever here in GA, no one goes to them anymore hes screwed so many people over its not funny.

The valvetrain is fine because he doesnt make it, he buys it from Supertech and resells it

KMS = Re-branded Supertech & Supertech = good stuff

I'm using them and they come in the same bag as Supertech valve springs.

If he would have actually read the thread he wouldn't even have needed to revive it, and you wouldn't need to tell him that...

I did read it smartass, but if you hadnt noticed, fact that the date is 2009 manufacturers can tend to change quality of parts or in this case companies they rip off, due to economy or usually ownership change. So before trying to be that douche that every thread has, think of the variables.

So do you think Bisimoto Eng. is ripping off Web cams becuase he uses them to produce his cams and then puts them in a Bisimoto engineering box?

KMS is not ripping them off, he uses Supertech to make his valve components. There are many companies that do this.

So if you already read the thread your question should have been. Does Supertech (KMS supplier) make quality parts? It may have saved you from the typical H-T BS.
