Default Wont Go Forward.

Just finished up my b16a turbo swap and went to take it out for its first test drive. Backed out of the barn just fine, threw it in first and it feels like the clutch isnt catching however it obviously is since reverse worked fine. The line was bled and we double checked it after this and it was fine still. Its got us completely stumped.

does it feel like its going all the way into first gear? start by trying to move foward in second gear.... if that works fine then you have an internal tranny problem.... is this the first time you have driven with this tranny?

We tried it from second and it was the same thing. Yes this is the first time I personally have driven the tranny however the motor came out of a buddies car and it was fine.

hmmm.... i had a similar problem when i did a b18 in my crx.... wheels turned in reservie but not foward. put the car up on a jack and see if your wheels will spin foward while the car is in nuetral and u just spin the wheel by hand. in my case, my dust shileds on my axles were hitting the back of the spindle making the wheels seize up in any foward motion.... sounds weird but it happened to me.

Yes the wheels do spin in nuetral when its lifted.
I havnt tried starting it in first, but i would imagine its the correct shift linkage.
