Hey guys, I'm switching to a b16 tranny so I need to get rid of my current gs-r tranny. Tranny is now off the car but the only pic I snapped of it is of it on the car.

The tranny has a 3rd gear grind, but it wouldn't grind as long as I double clutched before each shift into third. It also started to pop out of fifth every once in awhile.

Great tranny to purchase for a build.

i believe it's a 1995. I couldn't find the vin # on it, I thought obd2 trannies were the only ones to have the vin stamped on it with the green tab

$350? I can swing that today. I can swing 25 more tomorrow. Now why does it pop out of gear? How often do you change the fluid?

 

not sure why it pops out of gear. may be something a little synchromesh can fix.

This is tempting, but I'm kinda of leary on the 3rd gear and 5th gear problem. I hope it would be as easy as putting syncromesh or changing the fluid.
