sand paper grit?

Icon2 sand paper grit?

i know someones gonna give me crap about the paint thread or whatever, i have a question about sand paper grits i mest up on painting my car and want to sand it down again i have been using 150 and its too high of grit and not sanding enough and 60 grit is to low and leaving groves can some 1 give me a number for sandpaper thats kind of in the middle but doesnt leave groves

120 or 80?

Go to the store, look how many they sell between the two and pick one.

Heh, yes, you may be better served with 80, and then smoothing it out with that 150 (or 200). Sanding by hand, if anything more than a small area... oy. They make power tools for a reason. Pics?
