what rim offset i need to clear spoon twinblock calipers
well i tried searching but came out nuthing that answers my questions...i was just wondering what offsets i need to clear the spoon twinblock calipers? not many sites that sell rims that i like offer the offsets infos on it. plus i'm really eyeing the 17" advan rs but don't know if that rim will clear the calipers cause when i google, i get mixed infos on it. so if anybody can help me. i do appreciate the help.
Dont know if it helps you any, but, i just put spoon calipers on my R and i was still able to use my stock 15" wheels. I dont think you will have any problems with the 17"s.
I think the 17's should clear without a problem...key word, i THINK.
what offset are you looking at for the Advan RS? Stock 15" ITR wheels clear, Stock JDM 16" ITR wheels do NOT clear unless you use spacers. My 16" TE37's clear without spacers (+42 offset), 15" Advan RG's did not clear (45 offset)...search this forum, there's a thread regards Spoon caliper clearance and wheels

thanks for the help guys...i'm currently using a 5mm spacers on the jdm 16"s but i'm only using those rims for the winter because i got winter tires on them. i want the 17" advan rs but not sure it will clear it or not because i'm trying to avoid using spacers if i can. i had 17" ssr sp10 before i upgraded to the spoon calipers but those rims does not clear it at all even with a 8mm spacers.
