Default 98 integra gsr dyno tune by Courtney Green

I just got my 98 integra gsr tuned by Cortney Green in Ogden, Utah.

I was able to hit 193.0 whp and 123.6 tq

Here are my mods

Ngk iridium spark plugs
ngk spark plug wires
apexi n1 catback exhaust
greddy ss 4-2-1 header
stock cat
skunk2 stage 1 tuner cams
skunk2 pro intake manifold
skunk2 pro series cam gears
password jdm intake
blox dual valve springs
b&m fuel pressure regulator
walbro 255 fuel pump

stock block, and the head has not been ported, I am overall pretty excited about the numbers.

BTW- my car is tuned on neptune and this all went down on a dynomite dyno.

a better flowing header/exhaust will bring your numbers up a bit.. like hytech header for example with a 2.5" straight pipe cat-back.

That's one "enthusiastic" dyno for your particular parts combination. Two questions, what were the SAE corrected numbers and what MPH does it hit at the track?

by SAE corrected numbers do you mean, the net whp before the modifications?? If so I am not sure.

I havent had the chance to see what I can run in the quater mile, it is still pretty cold out here in utah and I amsure it might snow a few more times within the next couple of weeks. But when I get the chance I will post them up.

he means all dyno's have a built in correction factor to take into account for things such as humidity, barometric pressure,etc..... that may alter the readings. it will make the dyno read lower and more accurate. some leave it off which means a "happy" dyno.

I thought the same thing and everyone watching were very suprised too. I know that it is a pretty reliable dyno because Cortney uses it and he is pretty much the man in utah for tuning, plus the car is in really good shape and hasn't been beat up its entire life. All I can say is that I would have been very pleased with 173whp just because of the throttle response and power that the car felt like it had prior to the tune but knowing that it got 193whp doesn't really suprise me now that I think of it.

If the car runs a mid 13 then I'll believe it puts down 193

It's not the time in the 1/4, it's the MPH that tells the real HP story. Installing slicks can drop your time significantly and it doesn't change the amount of power a car makes.

how can you tell by the MPH? my gsr ran 15.3 at 98mph. is there a conversion chart?

to the OP, nice numbers seems correct to me cuz you did some internal work. take it to the track, its gonna be alot of fun.

its all in the mph, i ran a 14.4 at 100mph in the quarter in a stock weight integra, with a stock ls/vtec. my 60's were 2.4-2.3, so if i got 60's down with the traps speeds im gettting im capable of the high 13's.

Those are numbers I would expect to see with bump in compression(like itr pistons or p30)

MPH = 234*(hp/weight)^1/3
