I have a HAYNES manual. I've never read some other manuals for the Teg, but the HAYNES is okay to give you a general idea of what to do.
just another (of the many to follow and previous) recommendations for the Helms... don't even bother w/ other manuals.. this IS the one...yeah it cost like $68 shipped but the first time you use it.. it will pay for itself..
http://www.helminc.com (then click on service/repair manaul (not supplement) and choose your make, model, year...it should be around $70 shipped)...
I bought the haynes manaul first because well it was $15... the helms is much more detailed.. if your serious about doing any kind of major work to your car get a helms...

just get a helms
for oil changes you don't even need the Haynes/Chiltons manuals... the fill capacity is in your owners manual.. and all you do is undo the drain bolt, let the old oil out, then replace the oil filter and gasket/O-ring.. fill to the fill capacity and your set...
if your going to spend your money on any manual.. just get a helms... would you rather pay $15-20 and get general info (and more text than photos?) or would you rather spend $70 and KNOW (and see) that you have the most comprehensive manual for your car...
I bought the haynes at first.. cuz hey it was $15.... when you compare the haynes to the helms.. the helms is about 4X bigger, has way more illustrated diagrams, how things go together/come apart, flow charts for diagnostics, and illustrated pictures, text, etc... you get what you pay for... get the Helms... trust me I have both...

the only problem I've had w/ the helms is that its so damn big.. sometimes its hard to find the stuff/find the right category.. they should have made an index in the rear so you can look up say "CV BOOT" and it tells you what section/page.. other than that.. Helms
the other problem I have is that my cheap *** friends keep borrowing it

If your planning to keep the car for a long time get Helm's because when your car has problems you'll be able to find and fix just about anything on that specific car and even rebuild the motor using that book, some speacialty tools, and trips to a machine shop of course.
yeah the helms is a factory service/shop manual.. I haven't taken my car into the dealer since the warranty ran out = ) and my car is WAY past warranty (1995).. I've been able to do all my repair work and maintenance.. the Helms manual has saved me A LOT of money on maintenance, repairs and installation.. it more than pays for itself..
code reader? just jump the service connector, turn the ignition to ON and count the blinks for the code.. then refer to your helms manual to see whats wrong...
