Dash lights? #24 to #74
i want to order leds for my dash n all i can find are #74.. i know that i need 1= #74 and 5=#24... so my question is has anyone used a 74 where a 24 would go?
The 24 and 74 are the same wedge and take the same socket, but the bulbs themselves are different sizes. Many people just put 74's in. They'll fit, because the 74 is smaller than the 24.

what color did you use?
i need to replace the lights behind my a/c & recirculation buttons & was wondering which color to get, just white or maybe replace 'em all with amber....

i used blue 74 LEDs
but you'll never get even glow with the replacement LEDs. The only way to get even glow is to do this, which is what I did eventually.

not sure if anyone is still checking this thread or not, but the lights i ordered from Honda are a perfect fit & look great!
also, a quick little FYI, for those with the stock EX, LX, DX Climat Control, if you take of the little covers/condoms on the bulbs, then it looks amber.....
i'll post a pic of what it looks like when i get home & what it looks like WITH the bulbs
