I want to swap starters and see if thats the problem but rather then buying one i have 2 other integras that i can try the starter from but i need to know if they work. My car is a 99 gsr and the other 2 are 94. One is a ls and the other is not a gsr but has a gsr motor, i think its obd1. Part numbers for a 94 ls and 99 gsr suggest the parts are different but that could just be a number right? Diagrams look identical. Referenced the part numbers through hondapartsunlimited.com

 

should work... as long as its a c model engine.. im not sure on the b1s and the a1s though...

94-01 seem to be good at part swapping minus a few parts

 

well i guess i should stick to using the starter from the other gsr then and not the ls.. ill check back before i try in the morning.

 

if ur car is a GSR...Find a GSR one. Not a b-series starters are the same. I don't know why people say that but for me it wasn't.

 

Flywheels are the same, and you can interchange transmissions..

It's not like you have plugs going to the starter, so just try either one.

 

thanks guys i just tried with the gsr starter and it was identical and plugged up. Except it didnt fix my non start problem. Thanks again!

short story is my car wont start and im troubleshooting one step at a time but ive got most things covered. Narrowing it down except it seems im narrowing it down to 'i have no clue' cuz the common things i thought were it dont seem to be the problem. On to electrical now.
