Default Question

Hi I have a black 350z that i am going to be polishing soon (has a lot of swirls) I am going to be using a porter cable 7424. The products I am using are Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0, Mothers pure carnauba wax.

Was wondering is someone could help me in choosing which pads I should get.. I was thinking about getting these what do you guys think ?
orange pad
white polishing
black finishing

is this the correct order

use orange pad for the swirl remover, white for finishing glaze, black for wax ? Im confused on this

i would use blue for wax. also what pads are you using? the ccs pads?

the thing about the glaze is if you do the correction process the right way, you should not need the glaze, but it will add some gloss if anything.

the black pad "can" leave some marring behind.

blue or red for wax, but i prefer putting wax on by hand.

black can leave some marring on your corrected finish.

the ones listed above seem to be the favored ones, the ccs ones with the dimples.

www.autogeek.net is another website that usually has stuff on sale

Have you considered using a sealant instead of a wax? Something like klasse all-in-one. The finish isn't as nice as a good wax job. However it last 6-12 months as opposed to 6-8 weeks. You could always put wax on top of the sealant to improve the finish if you like.
