Im most likely going to be taking off my cc and ac stuff this coming up weekend. I figure i dont even have an ac belt on my car because my ac compressor growls like a **** when it has the belt so might as well take it off. my last car didnt have ac. I didnt really mind. This cars ac has never worked right so It hasnt bothered me either. I figure take it all out make the engine bay look cleaner since its just sitting there unused and untouched. How hard is taking off the compressor and all the stuff to it. Ive done it before on my ef but that was just the ac bracket and little stuff. With this car Will anything happen if I take off the cc I never use it and actually hate using it. Any codes or possible issues taking the whole thing off?
It shouldnt throw any codes just so you dont cut wires.I have done it to multiple cars. The compressor is real heavy and usually just has 4 bolts going through it.The cruise is real easy to take out and put back in.Just be sure you dont want A/C ever again and remember it might make the car harder to sell later on.
