AEM FPR setup doesn't clear strut bar...
Hey guys. I have issues with my adjustable AEM FPR not clearing the strut brace. A buddy of mine suggested I use a '95 Prelude (Vtec) FPR because it has an angled inlet (or is that outlet?) that will clear the intake manifold, I can just attach the AEM/stock FPR combo directly onto the fuel rail without using the angle spacer. The idea being it'll sit lower, clearing any type of strut brace.
But first, I wanted to confirm if they both (GSR FPR and Prelude FPR) have the same flow characteristics. He's says they're the same aside from the angled valve.
Thanks

Never thought of that...but still, wouldn't want to reduce the surface area of the mount points at the expense of clearance. It's like the subframe reinforcement issue, even with a tearout of the towers withholding, a smaller contact area would, in theory, require a much thicker (and heavier) brace to properly prevent distortion and flex.
Still, can anyone confirm whether the H22's fpr is the same as a GS-R's...?
