i got a 90 crx si that i just put a B16 into was out of a 99 civic si.everything is in. I have a chiped p28 that is chipped for a b16 basmap. and i got a dizzy addapter from rywire so i didnt have to buy an obd1 dizzy. My car have a obd0 to obd1 jumper harness in it already. OK it will crank over it sounds so healthy like it wants to put it wont fire. im geting spark. but im really not geting that much fuel i am but like hardly at all. i didnt try a compresion test yet. any help on what you think could be rong would be great

lots of things to check. timing for one. and are you sure everything is plugged in? plug wires in the right order?

 

1342 is the firin order and i dont know how to check timin in a b series

Is the fuel pump good? Also, main relay. How's that cam timing?

 

fuel pump is good main relay kicks on going to check timing here soon

 

If you say spark is good, and fuel is good, the only things left are cam timing, and spark timing.

 

it gets good spark and i think it may be timin i duno i will be checking today and what you mean spark timin you mean the fireing order

 

Yes, and also that the distributor is timed correctly. It'll run with it slightly off, but not as well as it should. I got the wires backwards once, so make sure your spark wires are correct.

BUMP i got fuel but it wont come out of my injectors i check like 5 dif sets and not fuel will come out i trun the car and no fuel..

Anyways, when you turn the key to on (not start) do you hear the fuel pump?

 

yes we alreadys went over my fuel pump kicks in

 

well man... um check fuel filter..and fuels not coming out of the injectors umm.. check wiring all that stuff but be patient like Sherm said... we are a dying breed...it took me about a year and a half to get mine comp. running correctly and its still has some hickups..like my #4 INJ!!!! UGH!!!!

 

put a new new fuel filter in im going to try main relay today see if that helps
