i have a 1997 civic coupe and i just got done with my swap and i put all the front end body panels on..well hood and front bumper and everything is lining up except the hood. i am totally confused why the hood is longer than the front of the car..it like stick over the front bumper alittle bit and it will not latch...ik that the hood is from a hatch...does that make a difference??

 

Did you make sure the bolts arent all the way forward in the hinges? did your old hood fit correctly?

 

i never had a old hood i bought this car with the hood. and i pretty sure about the bolts but i could double check..
