Default brake pedal idle

ok so i have a bad idle. it idles when warmed up from 1500 to 2600 rpms up down up down..etc. I replaced the IM, TB gaskets, and pcv valve. also the hoses.

still had the problem,

so last night i bought some 3/8 hose from autozone [fuel/emissions] and swapped my old brake booster hose for that. I tried blowing into the hose and no air could get thru, I turned it around and blew harder [lol] and i hear a pop and air could go thru. I decided **** it, ill swap the 3/8 autozone hose on... i removed the hose and heard psssst and then switched to the new autozone hose

Now at stops my pedal slightly moves up and down when my idle goes up and down.

wtf?

yeah the brake pedal moves up and down with the idle because of the changing manifold vacuum. sounds like the vacuum line to you map is screwed.

oh i have no idea. BUT he says it idles fine when he covers it up. sounds like it should have a vacuum cap or a line going somewhere.

I mentioned in your original Idle thread that the problem is due to the fact that the original OEM brake booster hose has a check valve incorporated into it whereas the new replacement hose does not.
