alternator plug help
hi i have a 93 civic with a ls/vtec setup but i got a new jdm b18b block form the internet that came with the rounded square plug it only had 3 wires but it looked like it had a forth that was pulled out and i have the round 4 wire i just want to know if i get anther plug like the one i got on the b18b block can i match up the wire colors and use that plug and alternator. THX FOR THE HELP

That's an alternator plug, not distributor. Since you have a JDM engine, I'm assuming your using your stock engine harness (round plug), since the JDM harness is backwards. So you have a couple options. You could rewire the plug (put the square plug on the stock harness), you could buy an OBD1 B-series alternator, or you could swap the voltage regulator (part with the plug) from your stock original alternator into the housing of the new alternator.

i was planing on useing my OBD1 harness and the jdm plug but will the wire colors be the same just match them up?
