Anyone know to what size should I bore my block for 82mm ycp civic type r pistons for proper clearance?

 

have the machine shop measure your pistons for you and setup the p2w clearence for you. I did that on my forged build.

 

different alloys have different ptw clearance. I need to know the clearance for the ycp piston, how far is the piston goin to expand at operating temp. Im looking for close tolerances I dont want to chance having it seize up or having piston slap.

 

the piston manufacturer should be able to provide this information to you why don't you call them?

 

Because a call to china is pricey and I would have to call at crazy hours of the night. Also I dont know chinese very well lol.

Ask the dealer/ warehouse you got them from. They should know.

 

i wouldnt be suprised it the recommended ptw from ycp turns out to be .0015. that is what rs said for their pistons and i think the oem specs are like .0012 to .0018 or something with a .002 service limit
