i dont know if i should go with the tein s techs or the H&R race springs. im definitely going to go with the kyb agx shocks with my stock 16" wheels. can u guys post pics of your cars with the h&r's and the s techs springs.

it doesn't matter what struts u have as long as there h&rs and s tech springs...wen u do post the pic tell us what set up u have and hows the ride.

 

Ground Controls only cost about $350. How much are you spending on the H&R or S-Tech?

 

h&r about $200 and the teins $170

H&R Race are going to be much stiffer than s-tech which are more of a moderate spring rate and also with the H&R Race its going to be a lower drop than the s-tech.

Just an FYI the KYB-AGX's can only take up to a 1.5 inch drop max untill it starts going bad!!!

I have Kyb-AGX's with the s-tech waiting to be installed very very soon!!!

 

oh I forgot to mention, i got my s-tech's for $130 shipped on ebay(best offer thing on ebay)!!! If your going to buy the s-tech's on ebay just make sure you do reasearch and buy the real ones cause there are alot of fake s-tech's out there!!!

 

yea i know that the drop for the h&r's are more than the teins, but i didnt know that the kyb shocks can only take 1.5 drop before they start going bad..
i wanted to see the teins and the h&r's on your cars to see if the drop from the h&r's are too much with stock wheels or if the teins aint going to be enough of a drop with the stock wheels..i have the teins on my 01 GSR right now with the koni's. its a really nice drop and it feels really good too. post up some pics!!! thanks

Not saying that shhh151 is wrong, as I've heard what he is saying as well, however, I've never personally seen this to be fact on my car or anyone else’s that I know first hand. My car has been on Eibach Sportlines (2.0” Drop in the front and 1.75” Drop in the back) and KYB AGXs since 2004 and it’s seen autocrosses, HPDEs, and a lot of spirited driving on shitty New England roads.

the AGX wont necessarily go bad if you go lower than 1.5in, it just voids the warranty if you do.

I currently run S.techs and AGX, but I need something stiffer for autox and other events so I'll probably go with H&R race as well

I dont got a lude but my teg is dropped on HR sports and im way lower than people running s techs. The bb6 lude at my school is on ground controls and that ish is slaaaaaaaaaaaamed.
