So I bought a 92 sedan single cam non V for my winter beater. It is totally stock. Sometimes when im driving the car it feels boggy and once in awhile it will just die. It also feels like it shoud have more power than it has. It feels like its struggleing when driving up hills too. When driving up a hill I will have the gas pedal pressed down half way and doesnt accelarte actually the mph starts going down. I have no clue what it could be. There is a new cap and rotor, plugs, and wires on the car when I bought it. It is not throwing any cel's either. I dont know where to start. I dumped a can of sea-foam thinking maybe it was a fuel problem but no dice it didnt do jack.

 

sounds like your disto or timing might be off.

 

I dont see how the dizzy could be off when its never been touched. The timing shouldnt be off because I never touched the dizzy. This car wasnt beat on by the previous owner and I dont beat on it either so its not like it jumped timing or something like that. It doesnt do this all the time.

 

spark plugs and wires?
