dohc zc engine questions.
the D16A1 doesn't fit unless you make a custom mount for the driver's side - you will have some issues with bolting it to the EF transmission and mounting the starter - unless the engine is 88 or 89 model, you will have a lot more problems - you would need a PG7 ECU
the D16A1 is not a ZC engine - it is a D16A1 - the ZC is JDM only and is a different engine - similar, but not the same

Hey look up a d16a1 swap fairly easy when you get the engine you have to get the same flywheel same clutch kit same year that the trans is and it will all bolt up the the a1 use you manual starter and the trans will bolt up with no problem there are some bolt holes in the back that wont line up but there is like 4-5 that you can use so its not a major problem maybe you can use a engine/tran brace the oem ones... Use you pm6 ecu if you cant get a oem a1 ecu... Its pretty easy... Oh and the driver mount will need to be customized take it off cut the top part then get a 1/4 steel plate small and weld it to the mount.. You will have to install the engine and trans then custom make the driver side mount
