i want to remove my spoiler


i already ordered the 4 plugs to cover the 4 holes that bolt on the spoiler, there the plugs that go on your shock tower if you dont have a stock front strut bar

QUESTION IS THOUGH i read theres either 5 or 6 holes? and one of them is pretty big so i dont know what to use for that big one, if i cant find one at all, CAN I PUT MY SPOILER BACK ON? w/o any leaks because there wont be adhesive no more

 

5 holes only. 5th hole is for the brake light.

Pic of said hole if anyone has it? I don't think you'll find a grommet to cover that and if you do it will probably look foolish.

 

I swapped my gsr spoiler out for an ITR and I swear my 01 GSR has 6 holes- two small holes on each side for the spoiler bolts, and a big one on the passenger side for the brake light wire harness, and a medium sized one on the drivers side for another spoiler bolt..

 

no should just be 5 holes- 4 four mounting(2 each side) then big one for brake light wires

 

i just removed my wing off my 2000 gsr, and also had 6 holes to cap off..

There are indeed 6 holes. 4 bolt holes, 1 big hole for the brake light harness on the passenger side, and 1 medium-sized hole on the driver side for a plastic guide pin on the wing.

 

yeah theres 6 holes and I went down to auto zone and bought a few cheap plugs for the big one and it fit perfectly no leaks at all and its not too noticeable.

 

6 holes 4 are all the same size, the other two are different. I don't recall the exact size.
